Whitby Jr. Wolves Coach Announcement

Congratulations to our Head Coach Gary Soper! He has accepted the position of

Head Coach for the 2010-2011 Jr. Team.

Congratulations are also extended to Brad and Blake for accepting assistant coach positions with the Junior Team.

Student Athlete Game Plan Information Session

The WGHA is pleased to announce an information session on the Student Athletes Game Plan. The information session is facilitated by Barb Boyes

Student-Athletes' Game Plan provides seminars to assist in educating Canadian student-athletes, parents, coaches and guidance counsellors on the process of pursuing athletic scholarships at U.S. Colleges/Universities.

The session is open to parents and WGHA athletes participating in winter and summer sports and are interested in athletic scholarships.

The session will be held Tuesday January 26th - 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Sports Gardens Cafe - Iroquois Room

Barb Boyes and the Blue Knights have an excellent track record of helping athletes achieve scholarship opportunities in the U.S. For anyone seriously contemplating this possibility, please plan to attend this seminar.

Esso Canada Cup Information

The National Midget Women's Championships will be held in Regina, Saskatchewan this year from April 18 to 24, 2010. Last year Whitby was one overtime goal away from earning the right to represent Ontario at the first ever national championships.

Team picture is schedule for 6:00 pm SHARP - September 8, 2009 at Centennial Park in Whitby.

Meet at the Gazebo in the park. Players bring both home and away jerseys.

After picture we will head to Twist for our 6:30 dryland training session.
